A thrilling comic tale of spies, scandal and vacuum cleaners. Needing money to support his daughter Millyís expensive tastes, James Wormold, a vacuum cleaner salesman in pre-revolutionary Havana, accepts a job with the British Secret Service. As he has nothing to report, he begins to invent sub-agents, missions and secret constructions. What could possibly go wrong? Graham Greeneís comic novel is brilliantly adapted for the stage with four actors playing 31 parts.

Please note this audition will held on the same day in the same venue as the Frankenstein audition.

These are open auditions. Please read the auditions page if you have never auditioned with the GST before.

Iím looking for brave actors who want to stretch themselves a bit, donít mind taking chances and want to have fun.
Because of the way the play is written, Iím not using traditional GST audition methods but will instead be playing some simple acting games, doing some text work in groups and a little improvisation. All auditionees will be active for the entirety of the audition, which will last about 90 minutes.
These are open auditions. Please read the auditions page if you have never auditioned with the GST before.

We will be rehearsing on two evenings a week and on Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals will be held at St. Margaret's Church Hall. The days for weekday rehearsals will depend on the actors cast and Iíd like to begin around the fourth week in September, giving us about 9 weeks of rehearsals. Weekday rehearsals will be from 8pm to 10.30pm. Times for Sunday rehearsals will depend on the castís preferences.

Please note that, though you do not have to join the GST to audition, all actors in a GST show are required to be members.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 27th July!
